What was the “SendGrid share request”?

It wasn’t a person asking to share anything. It was Sovrn emailing you your merchant list.

  1. We clicked “Send Report” inside Sovrn. Sovrn has no download button for the full merchant list — the only way to get it is to have Sovrn email it to you.
  2. Sovrn sends that email through SendGrid. SendGrid is just the delivery truck — like seeing “FedEx” on a package. The sender was Sovrn Support; SendGrid is only the carrier whose name shows on the link.
  3. The email landed in your Outlook at 4:26 PM today (“Approved Merchant Report”, to sebastian@martineztrade.com) with one download link, valid 30 days. The “share / approval” card you saw was simply your phone asking: “Can I open this link and download the file?”
  4. First try, you tapped decline — so nothing downloaded. Then you said “try again,” approved it, and the file came through. That’s why this page can now list real vendors: the file (72 MB) holds 68,065 merchant programs → 49,432 unique vendors, each with website, pricing type (CPA/CPC), estimated CPC, conversion rate, average commission, and average order value.

And your other instinct was right at the time: before that download, we only knew the count (49,467 on the dashboard) and about 120 names seen on screen — not the 49k. Now we have all of them, and this mall is built from that file.

Every one of the 49,432 vendors was sorted into a level by a rules engine over its name and website — keyword and brand rules in 10+ languages, plus hand-set overrides for well-known brands (McAfee, Avast and Bitdefender now sit on P5 Tech, not under Home or Marketplace). A vendor whose name and site give nothing away still lands on P10, the everything-else floor, rather than being guessed into a wrong level. Counts below are real, from your file. The top 40 stores per level, ranked by Sovrn’s own numbers (commission, conversion, order value). Every “Shop at store” button now carries your tracked Sovrn referral link — the click runs through Sovrn to the store, and any sale credits your account. Eight stores (Nike, Amazon, World Soccer Store, Soccer.com, Walmart, Alo Yoga, Zenni, SoccerGarage) use the short sovrn.co links minted one-by-one in your dashboard’s Create Links; every other store uses Sovrn’s documented wrap format (redirect.viglink.com with your public site key) — the same link set as the full directory below, and one was browser-verified landing on Nike’s homepage.

Add a store with your referral link

In Sovrn: Merchants → pick the store (or Create Links with any product URL) → copy your tracked link → paste it here. It becomes a store card with a working Shop button carrying your referral. Cards live for this visit; copy the link any time.

Only paste links Sovrn generated for your account — those are the ones that pay you.

How you get paid, in four lines

  1. Clicks (CPC) — 45,654 of your programs pay a few cents per click; almost all of your $5.33 so far is this.
  2. Sales (CPA) — 22,411 programs pay a % of the sale (your file’s commission column), e.g. Nike 5–10%.
  3. Timing — merchants pay Sovrn ~3 months after the sale month; Sovrn then pays you monthly.
  4. Threshold — payouts release at $25+, by check via Tipalti (setup complete, W-9 filed). Your pot is at $2.24–$5.33, so traffic through high-rate stores is the whole game.

Domain note: unlimited pages under martineztrade.com are already Sovrn-approved. This mall on a brand-new domain would need its own Sovrn approval (submit URL → install Sovrn → first clicks → ~3–5 business days).
